Yep, you are perfectly correct here, so what we have done in addition to the gymn (which is important as being fit is important) we have reduced our portions of red meat, we have also changed to eating only extra lean cuts of the same. More fish and poultry also forms part of the eating pattern. Starches have also been cut down. This is all part of how we eat now and not a diet at all.
So, a combination of both is what is needed, that is why I was not concerned with my weight going slightly up after the first week, in fact I expected it, but it is now going down slowly and at an acceptable rate.
