He stated that the spin classes are purely cardo-vascular, they build up you heart and lungs. In order to lose weight, you need to invest time and spend 45 minutes to an hour working with a heart rate of no more than 125 (cross trainer/cycle and treadmill will be good for this. Then you should start seeing some weight loss.
Last night I did super circuit - I don't think you have it in England but it is weight training combined with a bit of cardio.
Tonight was 6 km's on the treadmill - not very fast - it took me 40 minutes and then another 5 minutes rowing a 1000 meters.
Total weight loss - 500g. However that may be just dehydration - it is extremely hot here in Durban.
My body fat has gone down with 2% in the past month so I suppose that is a good thing.
On the eating front - I've given up and I'm back on my 4 big bags of chips a week but apart from that I'm very good.
I still love chocolate.
