Aargh! Its the invasion of the Ants again! I'm starting to realise it's not my housekeeping that's attracting them, but it seems that at this time of year they are just everywhere inside the house. Usually I put out ant traps to try get rid of them, but this year I have a little Princess Toddling around, scanning the place for anything tasty - the more dangerous the better
Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can at least keep these creatures under control?

Good old Chinese Chalk is still the best. Draw across door and windowframes and around vents - whatever crosses it will die but is not dangerous to humans or smaller pets.
If they are coming in through a crack/hole somewhere then perhaps apply insecticide to that specific locality.
Or invest in an anteater.

This anteater... can I get it on e-bay? :cheeky:
Where can I get some Chinese Chalk? Is it different to normal chalk?

Chinese Chalk is different to the regular stuff (how exactly I don't know. You can usually get it at fleamarkets or at Asian markets/stores. They come in little yellow boxes with red writing all over them.
