		I am so sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your family have faced and will continue to face.  I don't know how much you have been reading up, but my daughter looked after an autistic child who was on a certain Sunfield programme from the USA.  It is extremely intensive and requires a lot of time and dedication from the family, however, the progress this child has made is incredible - e.g.  where he couldn't tolerate hugs before, he used to go to her for hugs.   If you want further info I can try find it for you.  
It has not been recognised here in the UK, I think simply because of the manpower and costs (staffing etc) required to implement it.
