Don't Walk Alone
#1
Sometimes making it through each day is a monumental task,
But living with a disability is almost too much to ask.

Especially if it causes compromises, in your every day life,
Puts you in pain, and cuts your will like a knife.

Sometimes you get down, and feel thereÂ’s just no hope,
You donÂ’t know where to turn, you think youÂ’re at the end of your rope.

You feel no one understands, What happened you donÂ’t know why,
Sometimes you even think, itÂ’s time to say good bye.

I know itÂ’s all-true, for IÂ’ve been there before,
And I pray each day IÂ’ll go there no more.

But God eased my pain, and raised me from despair,
Showed me a reason for living, showed me He really does care.

ThatÂ’s why I talk to him, each and every day,
For walking without his guidance, I so easily lose my way.
For without talking to God, I start sinking back into despair,
I can give my troubles to the Lord, for him to help me bear.
