What is an ISDN Device
#1
I scored a windows 98 modem I know its not the greatest but it appears to work just fine and its only for the kids when they visit .

But when its up and running it asks that an I S D N device be installed but it works fine without this,

What is it ?????????????

Thanks

Helaina.

I pressume you have a normal dail up modem as a gift and there was previously ISDN modem installed.

Helaina - in short a ISDN modem is a dail up modem that can dail at 64k or 128 k - great before ADSL / Broadband took over but it was dail up and not dedicated.

So basically same as "normal dail up " just much faster.
