Following a fax vote by the World Motor Sport Council, the FIA today announced the Formula One calendar for next year.
The season kicks off in Melbourne after Bahrain was given the honour this year. Spa Francorchamps returns to the schedule next season after a season off, while the European Grand Prix and the San Marino Grand Prix are off the 17-race calendar.
