OK ... there a few of us

But .. how do you stop MSN from signing on [connecting automatically] when you switch on your computer and when you open your Outlook Express.

there should be an option, under tools which allows you to change this. Dont have MSN at work but will look tonight.

Mine doesn't.

Not sure what I did though...

In the Danish version it's under the general tab under the functions tab. The reason mine doesn't start is because I have told it not to remember my password. Smile

Hope that helps you.

Our machine does the same and I haven't told it to remember the password. MSN pops up when you switch the laptop on.

When u sign in ..

1. Click Tools
2. Options
3. Select tab that says General
4. Untick box that says allow automatic sign on when connected to the internet.

Then u may also be able to disable it from your start menu by:

1. Start
2. Run
3. Type msconfig, hit ok
4. Choose the tab that says startup
5. Deselect msn messenger, reboot

NB... this will NOT delete msn, it just stops it starting when u start pc.
