Music playing to fast on pc

I have recently replaced my hard drive and reloaded everything onto it but for some reason all my songs which I have downloaded from the internet plays extra fast, so I have the chipmuncks greatest hits at the moment. I have played it in both windows media player and winamp and installed both again.... pls help I am going through the wall, I don't know if it's because my old HD is slower than the new one.
