I still have seed for this plant and was wondering if it is too late to be starting it off now. Can anyone advise?
Also, does anyone know the difference between normal rocket (be that the cultivated or wild forms) and Turkish rocket?

According to this website, you can sow them after the last frost, so even now sounds fine.
Perhaps you'll find the answer to your other questions on this site too...

Thanks. Just got given a nifty windowbox so am thinking of what to pile in there now. Tomatoes seems like a bit of a waste, and I have more herbs than windowbox to accommodate them, so it is down to either flowers, strawberries or salad greens.

try a few BB. They're pretty tough, and not too fussy.
I always sow late (about June!) and they survived last year.
Thanks, will do. Rocket is a taste I have become hooked on - from salad greens to pesto, it is divine. I can get it at the market on Saturday's for €1.50 a bag (about 800g) so it is reasonable, but it doesn't keep long even in the refrigerator.
