Looking at the results I got from Ananzi.co.za when I search for links relating to schooling in SA I am not overly impressed by them..... does anyone have a URL that they can recommend. I am trying to find out what the current cirriculum is for children entering years 6 and 9. I would also be keen to hear from anyone in SA now about the level of homework, what subjects are compulsroy,ect.... things like History.... I know when I moved back to SA at 13 that subject really hit me as I knew NOTHING about SA history only American..... thanks in advance for any assistance offered.

It varies from province to province. I would suggest you approach a school in the town you are going to settle in and get their advice! I am however suprised you are going back to SA, I thought your plans were to head over to the US.

Thanks all..... I have sent off emails and hopefully will have some information soon..... I will send said pictures as soon as I am satisfied with them ..... hehehe - still playing around with the camera
