Well, maybe a few of you have considered that TheDuck has been quiet for a while or maybe not
However, it is time to share the news and tell the why .. We have moved country, our home is now in the South of Sweden .. Skone to be a little more accurate. We are staying on a farm 15km from a town called Ystad.
To say we are ecstatic is an understatement. Our surroundings are grand, we have been here a week and still very much going through the process of settling in.
So dere you ave it

Good luck in your new surroundings, you sound extremely happy. Was there a particular reason for your move or was it just time for different scenery?

Thanks Britbok
numerous reasons ... wifey's one being closer to the beach, shorter winters .. longer summers and a number of others ..
We got more than expected ... with sheep and horses alongside us and views across the fields on the other .. throw in the easy access to Europe and the cheaper flights etc and it begins to make more sense
our children are not at school yet so we were 'simply' able to
Wouldn't have moved if there was no broadband connection .. so that was a prerequisite

Sounds lovely and I like your wife's way of thinking
. Having broadband is definitely a prerequisite, for me it would also have to be some form of satellite tv as well
Congrats on your new home Duck, hope you and the family will be very happy there, it sounds grand.
