Update: Beware Greetings Card emails
#1
It comes with the subject

You've received a postcard from a family member!

Good day.

Your family member has sent you an ecard from 123greetings.com.

Send free ecards from 123greetings.com with your choice of colors, words and music.

Your ecard will be available with us for the next 30 days. If you wish to keep the ecard longer, you may save it on your computer or take a print.

To view your ecard, choose from any of the following options:

--------
OPTION 1
--------

Click on the following Internet address or
copy & paste it into your browser's address box.

--------------------------------------------

when you go to the page it is an embedded ecard.exe file

I will check further but this is a scam or even worse

nb. there is nothing wrong with 123greetings.com, but what happens is the link is displayed as 123greetings.com, but the actual target address of the link is something like 210.192.421.345/img/ (i have changed this address so it won't kill you if you are stupid enough to click on it!)
Basically the scum are using 123greetings.com as a disguise for their devious endeavours, they could have (and may well do) use any of the many online greeting cards operators.
btw this scam has been around for a few years now...

Thanks for that. I have a few friends that use 123Greetings regularly so I'll be careful from now on when I receive one of their notifications.

Today I received two of those strange ecards....

The one was from dgreetings.com telling me a colleague has sent me a card...

and the second one from greet2K.com telling me a partner has sent me a card...

I think it is similar to what TheDuck warned us about a few weeks back.
