Hi Curio, that is part and parcel of being a parent...
I think many parents in my "current" home town will be up till late this evening, as there is a concert for Children in Need and some so-called big name artists are taking part in the concert,,,, here in Wrexham , North Wales.
I can assure you, children do appreciate it if their is a parent waiting for them, my sons are both grown up ............ they now admit that they in fact loved knowing that I worried about them, eventhough they sometimes came in later than promised etc etc.
