They were classmates at the Pasadena Playhouse acting school, but both earned the distinction of being voted least likely to succeed. Ironically, in high school fellow actor and comedian Robin William was also dubbed leat likely to succeed, but he also earned the distinction of being voted most humourous.

Toto earned more money per week than Judy Garland in making The Wizard of Oz.

Toto earned a good salary(for a dog) of $125 a week. a hefty sum compared to that of the munchkins, who made only $50 per week, but it was less than Jidy's weekly take-home pay of $500 for playing the starring role of Dorothy. Nonetheless, Judy made far less than any of the other lead actors on the set. Ray Bolger, who played Scarecrow, made ten times Judy's salary.

Silly Putty was used to fasten down tools on Apollo 8.
