Who can stay friends

Hello again all, a wee update - after mulling this over and over and over. I finally decided after a snide and provocative comment by e-mail from my ex, who wanted to be friends, to let her know that it was not in my best interests to interact with her at all let alone remain friends. I met with her on Tuesday evening, kept it short and sweet and told her that I had had enough of the lies and deceit and thet I did not care to see her again, ever. I said that should I run into her I would attempt to be cordial but that she should not bank on that.

I've let the mutual friends know what I have said to her and have said that we can all be friends but that they would be ill advised to invite the ex and I to the same event. I have also requested that they share no news of her comings and goings with me. They've been pretty good for the most part in keeping us a separate as thay can.

I've been feeling much better since doing this, I dont think she was too perturbed by my decision to make the break as final as possible ( very final would be me moving to SA (or Netherlands) or she to Spain).

I got a wee tattoo :yikes: something I've wanted for ages, one down side is that it has kept me out the pool for the last 10 days and I have to watch the weight:curse:
