a ) you don't say : what's the score with the Geordie accent ? Have you preserved it , or lost it , after all the years in Effrika and elsewheres ?

I do have a little of my Yorkshire accent - my Dad's is still very apparent despite living in SA - but it has faded and I have an accent that most at work recognise as South African.

I was in Brussels last year, lovely city. My wife's parents live about 20 minutes drive from Gent so we visit there twice a year on average. I do like Gent; sipping a cherry beer - ja, I know, my wife drinks harder beers than I do :crylol: - and watching life go by with a view of the river is very relaxing.
