Yes there are 10 000 Saffers in Belgium (we're catching up to uk ). We even have a website and our own pub in Brussels. We play cricket and rugby too.

Koekie, I am going to SA soon after being away for two years... I'm just wondering if there are any other Saffers, besides my family and friends, left in SA... I do love the old part of Brussels very much and Brugge is one of my favourite places!!

Koekie, glad you have other Saffers there... it can be a hard place to live in Hey?

I know a lot of Saffers who went into depression in Belgium and Holland... not enough sun??

Jen, I think we have more sun here than the UK to be honest and the scenery, houses etc. is more appealing. Don't know why they got depressed although they're not very sociable with non-Belgians I've found. They are extremely helpful and organised though which makes it a pleasure living here (in Vlaanders anyway).
