Thanks

Not so much goosebumps as very strong emotions which the songs bring on.

Seven Seconds - Yussour N'dour and Nina Cherry for my mate Michael who I was told was dying as this song played in the background.

Africa - Toto. Lying in bed as a kid in Que Que Rhodesia listening to the drums from the beer hall at the compound mixed with the thud of the stampmill at a small local gold mine.

Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd.

Ode To Joy - Beethoven. The Rhodesian National Anthem.

The Living Years - Mike and The Mechanics. For my dad.
Thanks to all for the replies. Interesting to read which songs hold dear memories for you & bring on the goosebumps.

It seems that we have similar taste, my friend! Bette Midler's The Rose also gives me goosebumps. My aunt wrote out the words for me a few years ago when I was at a huge crossroads in my life. Those words gave me the guts to change my life forever. Smile
