We have an Albanian couple on the course that I am helping with at the moment, and I so enjoy being around them and visit with them. They are very different from I thought they would be.

Well, the little I know about Albania is thanks to Mother Teresa, as she was from there. When she was a child there was a very well defined high society in place, but the political situation was turbulent to say the least. If I am recalling correctly, her father was assassinated/murdered as he was a well-connected businessman with political interests.

After she left the country, whatever new government came into power would not allow her mother or her sister to visit her.

Please keep us informed, we seem to live such privilged lives that we tend to forget about the rest of the world, our minds are so focussed on Africa and the Middle East.
