Nolan Bushnell, creator of Pong and Atari, also launched the first Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theater in 1977. Bob Brock, once owner of several Pizza Time Theater franchises, started ShowBiz Pizza Place, a competitor of the Chuck E. Cheese restaurants. A lawsuit was later settled that required Brock to give Bushnell a percentage of ShoBiz's earnings for ten years.

20% lighter, to be exact. MacDonnald's, along with other fast-food chains, is now being pressured by enviromenttal agencies to eliminate straws altogether and to use lids with tabs instead. Littered drinking straws have been blamed for deaths and injuries among marine creatures and other wildlife, which often ingest them.
