How long does an individual have to be an American citizen before he or she can run for the U.S. Senate? How about the U.S. House of Representatives?

Perhaps she wasn't a character actor or it could be a trick question as it said actor and not actress i.e. a case of sexual discrimination :p , what do I know ? :confused:
