Today is yet another milestone is our daughter's life. Today is the day she starts secondary school. Luckily she is looking forward to it and we've managed to get her into a really good school, so hopefully it's the start of great new things.

My son Devon, started Secondary School today as well.
When you think about all the adversity he has faced coming over from SA when he was five, had never had formal schooling, spent a month in reception not being able to read or write and also being the youngest in the form (His birthday is the 29th August) - Junior School was one arduous slog.
He was so excited to go off to big school.
He has well and truely made me a proud dad
