The world is becoming cynical. Nobody believes anything good about anybody else. When somebody is successful, she is maligned. When somebody wins, others “steal” his medal by making caustic comments. Nobody is safe from the cynical comments of other people. Should we not trade in our cynical hearts for hearts full of wonder? How? Well, start by doing what Paul recommends in Philippians 2. Start by treating others as more important than you. Notice that God gives His grace in large quantities to the people at work and in the church. Remember, you are not the only person whose prayers are heard. See the beauty in friends and family despite the scars that life has inflicted on them. For a change, look past their faults, look until you see how God also blesses them with his grace.

Awe makes you smaller and others bigger. As you become smaller before God, so your cynical nature disappears. The more Christ’s heart beat echoes within you, the more you discover the beauty in others. And then you become the restorer of God’s creation and not the inflictor of scars with sharp words and unloving language.

Hi Rita

How blessed to see through the eye's of Jesus, to see what he saw, to feel what he felt....

The least among us will be the greatest......

To serve those who are un-heard and un-seen by the world, is truly humbling and I stand in awe of them, for we have much to learn!
