Yes, we do serve and awesome God!

How often we hold back because we think we need to be perfect first before He can use us. How often do we compare ourselves to others instead of stepping out to do what God has called us to do and then misses out on His blessings - for us and others.

We do indeed serve an awesome God (and to think He loves us.....) and I have often used the same example you did with one's children...........you do not stop loving them , etc.
We have to often punish our children and we do so because we love them and want the best for them, how much more does God not do for us!!

I often wonder why people need to have proof of God's existence....like can He cure my child, can He do this and that...

why should He do something more special than what he has already done for us??
