I have just swapped over from using Red Hat to using Mandrake 10. What a doddle. It took me less than half an hour and three CD Roms. Out of the box I have internet connectivity, all of my hard drives are mounted and readable - inlcuding the USB one which Win2K barfed on, all my multimedia files are played (ask MS Media Player to play .ogg files for you). All in all a very quick and painless install. Included in the install is all the office software you will ever need, email and net software and tonnes of games.

And just to think I no longer have to live with the threat of some poxy little hacker exploiting yet another hole in the defences of MS Windows.

Billy Gates eat your heart out - time to go open source and find some real programmers to show you what a real OS is all about!
I c our Afronaut is makig big adverts for hsi new venture (open source) !
