mmm now that the weather is cooling down, oats are more appealing

Yep, this is what I do on my cardio days. For weight days, I just do 5km run and 10 min cycle and move on to weights and tum.

No Jewels, it is enough for me for dinner. I have a big salad for lunch and can't eat loads in the evening. It is not good in anyway to sleep on a full stomach.

Gregg, I am offended by this. I don't eat anything because I HAVE to (to stay thin or whatever) I eat what I enjoy, what would be the use of eating something if you don't like it?
I will not torture myself like that.

Firstly I LOVE salads, in any form and because I eat this almost every other day, I vary it. I put lettuce and spinach, red peppers, radishes, tomatoes, gherkins, cottage cheese and aubergines in today's salad. Not only do I think it sounds good, it is going to taste good as well

 Just checking....you do get some people who eat stuff they don't like in order to stay healthy. Stupid I know...but it happens!!

Your salads do sound interesting.....that is why I wanted to know what you put in them. I noticed that you eat loads of them so the fact that you vary the contents at least keeps them more interesting.
Gym for me tonight......and then from tomorrow I'll be doing sit-ups and tricep pulldowns on my beach bench!! :crylol:

No Gregg, life is to short to be like that each and every single day.
I have to add that heck, I would love to eat a sandwich as well sometimes, but I can't. I am wheat intolerant and it plays havoc with my tummy, so I avoid it. So yes, in a way I am eating salads for health reasons, but this does not mean I am eating it to just loose weight. And, salads, depending on how they are made, can in anyway make you gain weight Wink

The book said that to prevent your body from becoming intolerant to anything, you have to vary your diet and try not to eat the same two days in a row, so it does get difficult with salads, but luckily you can make a hell of a lot of different salads...
