I guess each for his own, hey? I for one asked my fiance to buy this for me for my birthday, I think he is an interesting guy, even though he has his mistakes (like all of us)
Jewels, it is quite a good book, I got some lovely ideas from it, if you want I can pass it on to you when I am done? (Sorry, I am talking about the wedding book here!)
Phew, if you did not mention ( in brackets!!!) the wedding book, I would have asked you to share the lovely ideas..

i lend it from a girl at work - she said, "i have read a book written by a South African and loved it" and then brought it in !
written in 1950 but republished 1990 by Paladin

wow ! thanks nikki and joan !
ps - can u believe this is the 1st time i have been on amazon !!!!
Nooit ! Shame on you, it is the best bookshop in the world, can browse and order all from the warm comfort of your own home.
They are excellent with the deliveries, and of course they every title imaginable.
I like a lot of books from the US and so of course they can get anything for me, and at a normal price, unlike Borders and Waterstones. I still do occasionally shop there, but I find Amazon's prices so good.
(for eg, I wanted to buy a CD for a friend and on HMV it was £17.99 and Amazon £10.99)
