We all know the benefits of Rooibos tea. However, I'm interested to find out if it is high in Tannin.
A nutritionist recommended teas that are low (or void) of tannin, i.e. fruit and herbal teas. Does Rooibos fall into this category?
Agree with Dudette - this stuff is great, even has a sweetish taste !
Is Rooibos the same as Rooi bush tea ?
That is how it is marketed here in Denmark :haha:
Sorry for the hi-jack :p
It probably is, Jangar - it's marketed here as RedBush tea. In all your friendly stockists, ie Tesco's and Sainsbury's

Jangar, I may be wrong, but as far as I know "rooibos" grows in SA.......... ( I do not know whether it is "grown" commercially elsewhere)
Have a look on the packet of the Rooi bush tea in Denmark, if it is from SA, it must be ordinary rooibos tea!
I bought Eleven O'Clock Rooibosch Tea (The orignal) today
Nataliiie, it says:
* Naturally caffeine free
* High in Anti-oxidants
* Low Tannin
* Allows restful sleep
:lovef:
it is suppose to be very low in tannon, if anythign at all
it is marketed in tescos as 'red bush' but says on the packaging that it is rooibos from SA
You can also find it through these people:

Jangar, this particular one can be bought at Søstrene Grene. They also have other interesting teas, like Indian Spice, and Chai.
All the Celestial Seasonings teas are also Caffeine free...
