Sunny, it seems as if you had caring physicians that did not just dish the Ritalin out. It is (or used to be) a Schedule 7 drug in SA ( I think the scheduling of drugs may have changed or is in the process of being changed)
In the UK it will be classified as a CD (Controlled drug)
I recall us discussing your son many moons ago when someone else posted about ADD on another site .....
