Born in the UK,emigrated to SA when 3 years old,
lived in Benoni,Bedfordview, then back to UK at age 8, dad had to come over for biz. purposes,lived in UK for a year and a bit and
then on to Dayton,Ohio USA for a year then back to Benoni
for a couple of years and finally parents settled in Kempton Park
until I was 18,they then moved on to Sandton and I stayed in
Kempton Park as I wanted to be with my mates.....
Finally I moved down to the good Cape where I got married,
lived there for 10 years b4 emigrating to UK with hubby and son.
We have now been in UK for nearly 11 years.

hello everyone. I'm from Alberton too. I was born in the U.K but came to S.A as a child with my family. Parents now back in the U.K (in Leeds).
Enjoying reading the different posts whilst munching on some biltong too. (no intention of making any of you jealous) HA HA. Just heard they are going to launch a new kind of biltong.....wait for it Brandy flavoured biltong!!!!!
Anyway looking forward to further associations here.
