Place of Reeds - Caitlin Davies - Bushbaby - 28-06-2005 Don't know how many of you have read this book but if you haven't I can highly recommend it. You can read a very thorough synopsis of the book here: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2102-1635093_1,00.html In short, it is the biography of Caitlin herself who moved from London to Maun in Botswana and lived there for 12 years. It recounts her experiences, both good and bad, during that time. It documents the changes to the social landscape of Botswana (something that mirrors the changes in South Africa very closely) and is a very different and refreshing read. Place of Reeds - Caitlin Davies - nikkinaz - 30-06-2005 Bushbaby this certainly looks like an interesting read. I am trying to broaden thee type of books I read as sometimes I do find reading the same old book boring. I hope from thriller to drama to period drama.....the one type of book I find difficult to get into are sci fi or fantasy books...they take a while.
