Download and install Linux and forget that using Microsofts products on the internet is like being in the Mid Atlantic in a leaky baby bath:

Anyone who buys Microsofts half baked products really should consider installing Linux unless they are reall suckers - in which case please email me a check for £120 for my suggestions here. If you pay MS that sort of money for XP you may as well constribute it to my gween gween gwass fund!

You needa da mail client? Look no further than Evolution. A fully integrated diary/email/scheduling app.
Amd guess what? Instead of paying silly money for M$ Office you get these free, gratis and mahala with most new versions of Linux!

So you really want to tell is EVERYTHING is free ?
What about your drivers (ie my Laptop drivers) - will they be compatable with Linux ? The ports / screen / etc ?
