Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
John the Baptist ate bugs
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying

The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once

You don't want to know. I took an allergy tablet.... but instead of taking it one 24 hours, I took onother one within 6 hours... instead of making me healthy, I felt all depressed. I am feeling better now... thanks.

Morning Joan
You know, it is the very fact that God loves us despite ourselves, that really encourages me. How many times do our kids dissapoint us in life, do we stop loving them? Of course not! We love them just the same. We may not always agree with or like what they do but we would still go through hell to fight for them, because we will always love them, warts n all!. God does the same!
So having said that, none of us can come to God perfect, it is only through him we are made perfect. He works perfection through our imperfection.
So for those who feel that they are not good enough to be loved, that what they have done in life some how excludes them, that they will never be good enough, we only have to look to David as a pure example of the love God has for the person and not what their past contained. David knew he had stuffed up badly, and I mean badly, but he received Grace far beyond anything we can understand, unless we have also received that Grace, then it becomes very clear how irrespective of our past, we too can take hold of the amazing grace that is available to every person on this planet!!
