New book on SA history -narrated by a tree - StanDaneman - 17-01-2013
Having previously written books of poetry and on various business topics is was a wonderful new journey to research some aspects of SA history and then to take on the persona of a tree (Professor Marula) and write a book on SA. "From my hilltop - a living history of South Africa" was published on 21 December 2012. I decided to publisher an ebook as the old Prof. did not want to use members of his family as paper!
I do so encourage South Africans to keep there hertitage alive - write down your Ouma's cookie or bread recipe - maybe one day I'll follow up with a story that includes some old cultural memories - mind you Prof Marula enjoyed Amarula!
