Universal praise heaped on Mandela often overshadows the contributions of those who came before. Tambo guided the ANC through the darkest days of the struggle.

Wow, some very interesting sounding books there.

If you cannot find the books on Amazon I would suggest you try kalahari.net - they are actually quite good, reasonably priced and deliver within 3 weeks from South Africa.

Hi, this is Rosie Fiore... thanks to IceCub for name checking my book This Year's Black... as (s)he says it is the story of a South African woman who flees her problems and goes to live in London... and as those of us who have done the London thing can testify, there are plenty of problems to be found here too!

It's freely available in South Africa, but sadly not here in the UK, or on Amazon. I'm working very hard to get a British publisher, but in the meantime, if you'd like to buy it, it's available on my publisher's website, http://www.struik.coza, at http://www.exclusivebooks.com, http://www.kalahari.net, or you can get someone in South Africa to buy it and send it to you! There seems to be growing enthusiasm about the book, which, as you can imagine, is very exciting for me. I hope it will touch anyone who has felt like an exile in a strange land, or who has made mistakes they don't know how to fix.
Best wishes
Rosie
