Hi Everyone. My name is Laura101.
I am new to using forums. I am more familiar with Web 2.0 services such as FaceBook & MySpace. That is not to say that i feel forums are completely old school. I really do appreciate the ease of discussing a specific topic, without having to struggle through loads of automated nonsense. But I digress.
I am from Cape Town, and i do enjoy travelling. I have been to the London, Callay (France), Malmo (Sweden), Copenhagen, Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco and a bunch of other cities. I would like to, someday soon, take a tour of South Africa, which i feel that i have neglected through my travels, only visiting the cities and never much more.
Both of my sibblings live overseas, one in the UK and one in the US.
I urge you to take a look at the website http://www.whereintheworldareyou.co.za/, which is a survey for South Africans living abroad. If you are interested, then have a look.
The 101 in my nickname is a reference to those dreaded first year varsity courses that were always an introduction to something or other.
