Hi Pam,
We use a local version of the Science Diet available through our local petstore - no 33 for Sensitive stomachs. Also, we use Go Cat - any mix with a supposedly high proportion of veggies in it. Anything too meaty or fishy he rejects so it is usually rabbit or duck with veggies (all looks and smells the same to me).
Beyond the weepy eye he is a very contented cat. There is no sign of discomfort - he eats, sleeps, grooms and plays as if nothing was wrong.
