[COLOR="Purple"]Oh Jim, I am so sorry to hear about all of this. Fortunately I never experienced it with my parents, but some of my friends did. Well.... having said that, a few days before my Dad passed away I flew back from Holland to see him in hospital and he was convinced I came with a bus from Holland to SA. 
My one friend lives in Thailand, and her mother believes that she is 'stealing' all her money. Now mother and daughter always had a very good relationship and all of a sudden it changed. She told that to all the staff at the care center and Yvonne's sister in law.
Another friend went back to the States to help her mother pack up her home and settle her somewhere else - on the mother's request. When she got there her mother was soooooo angry with her for coming to do that. :dazed: She returned quite hurt.
Jim, not worth it to get upset and bitter .... we never know how we will react in the years to come.
Hope it all works out at the end. Keep us posted.
