We had been living in Pangbourne, West Berkshire before.
Hi 1stKnight
When I first moved over here to England, I lived in West Wycombe and then moved to Amersham after 6 months.
The Grammar school in Wycombe is excellent. Had some staff who went there and they turned out ok
Moving up to Aspley Guise, SE of Milton Keynes to be closer to work.. (a quaint Buck's village called Wavendon). Left CF just over 2 years ago and recently got involved in the dream of a restaurant. Hopefully will achieve Michelin status within 18months.. so a fair amount of work etc ahead.
There are a few great restaurants, etc to see around the area - drop a PM or whatnot and I'll give you the odd pointer.
There's a winery quite close as well - surprisingly good and with the upsurge in English wines, it's great to see.
All the best
