Me , I haven't got to anywhere near those culture-levels , so :
I stick to wine mostly , usually a Bordeaux ( Medoc , Blaye or better ) , a safe bet with most of the grub I like ( young beef , lamb , loadsa veggies ) ...
My wife sometimes thinks I am a bit of an ignoramus when I pour her a beer that is in the wrong glass :haha:
She likes wine too but knows very little about it - she does have an interest so next time we are in SA we want to visit the Cape and do a wine tour.
I'm a red meat fan - love my steak - but I've never been the greatest vegetable eater although I do get loads now. My Dad and Katrien colluded to ensure I eat healthily. But I have managed, despite this assault on my eating habits, to introduce equally as much 'junk food' - pizza, burgers etc - into the home.
