Thanks
I have a sister in law in Auckland and my brothers and sisters in SA all on the net.
Do I buy the software and send it to them or is the software free?
PAV its free, if you go into the Microsoft site and download the microsoft messenger package, then set up yourself a hotmail adress, you have to go through the options and you will see that it allows you to recognise when someone is online. You can then set up a direct audio link, as well as typing etc, like in a chat site, but directly with that person.
I kow ICQ did something similar some time ago. The trick of course is to get the person you want to speak to, online at the time that you want to speak, which is fairly easy, just send a mail with the times.
Just discovered this site http://www.pc-telephone.com/ may be useful too, or a search on google gave me this lot
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=na...+telephone good luck, If you discover something interesting I would appreciate a lead, if I find something new will let you know
This gets longer PAV, something from the microsoft stable
