When we were still living in UK, I used to make lovely homemade chips using Maris Piper potatoes & cooked them in olive oil. D loved those. However, the Danish potatoes are horrid & are not suitable for chips or roast. There are very few varieties available & all are old & water logged. They are really only good for boiling. This is why I started buying frozen chips.
I've made milk tart with the hope that D would try that. He helped me make it, admired it but refused to touch or taste it.
