Seriously.. I hope all goes well and that you can start adjusting to the changes in your lives smoothly.
Venus.. How's the eating coming along? Has he managed to get excited by any other food yet?
Thanks Nikkinaz, Heather & Cheffie for your good wishes & support. mitten:
No, Cheffie, he will only eat 3 things: french fries, a particular type of biscuit & milk chocolate (only particular varieties). He only drinks milk & lemonade. He has been this way since he was weaned. I sneak vitamins & a tasteless protein powder into his milk. It's very worrying from a health point of view & frustrating because I love to cook! However, the doctors reassure me that all his blood tests are normal & his height, weight etc are in a healthy range for his age so I must just hang in there & keep trying but without nagging or pushing.
We went to view the kindergarten at the psychiatric unit today. It's fabulous! It's set in amongst trees with a lovely seaview. All the toys are the kind that appeal to children like D, eg. trains, spinning things, number puzzles & computers. They also have a mini gymnasium with trampoline, slide, swing, climbing frame etc. D is so excited about going there. He'll be able to start around 9th May. urfing: And at some stage during his time there he'll be going on a 3 day camping trip! :yikes: I've been away from him 1 night since he was born.
