Surita. I consulted a personal trainer last night, as despite 4 spinning classes a week, and haveing cut down on the alcohol and the food by quite a considerable degree, I am still not losing weight.

He stated that the spin classes are purely cardo-vascular, they build up you heart and lungs. In order to lose weight, you need to invest time and spend 45 minutes to an hour working with a heart rate of no more than 125 (cross trainer/cycle and treadmill will be good for this. Then you should start seeing some weight loss.
