eg 3 spaces to total 24 = 7+8+9
2 spaces to toal 10 = 1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6 (5+5 not allowed) and so on. try hitting 7 or more digits totalling 50 and higher. it'll get your mind working. or blow it maybe. :duh:
I agree that some sudokus are pretty easy but you get some stinkers too :yikes:
I enjoy kakuros too and have a few books of them, but I really enjoy Hashiwokakeros at the moment though they are not as easy to find. I've heard / read that the reason is that the Japanese like to put in little horrid twists in their puzzles and that is not so easy in Hashiwokakeros.
