...of at least 6 such families I know , and , mostly , they claim to be happier Down there , what with better weather and easier to get on , jobswise.
On the other hand , BBC 1's "Wanted Down Under" is now in its 4th week and , even on morning-time telly , Oz is not without its plethora of problems : the episodes were filmed last winter there , so the insects , mostly , are not seen as that much of a problem , but incredibly high house-prices , wages generally lower than U.K. , remoteness and isolation - all contribute to undoing the usually rosy picture we tend to think of Oz ...
...All that before even mentioning the high cost of medical cover , astronomically expensive fruit and veg , the drought , incredibly poor TV , parochialism , cultural issues ...so much , for The Grass , being Greener ?
