Casino Night!

Being a dainty, cultured evening with wine, gaming and a little music no doubt - office staff dressed to the nines as though going to a 'proper' casino - would lend itself to canapes and finger food. 1.5 x each variety (with between 15-20 different canapes/ finger food items) of canape per person would be the same as eating a 2-3 course meal at a restaurant.
Obviously as you're eating slowly, more measured mouthfuls, whilst sipping on your drinks and playing/ gambling the night away, the food tends to be spread over a number of hours and can become 'all-night' in effect, with no-one getting the stuffed-pig look or feel.
If however this is not the scenario and you'd prefer the spitbraai/ trough of stew/ pallet of beer and tottering females being groped in the loo by their secretaries.. then go ahead. It might make the evening more interesting and you won't have to worry about catering such easy food.

Have fun devising your menu
