Title: Green Chili Chutney - Bph
Yield: 4 Cups
Ingredients
2 lb fresh new mexico chilies;
-roasted, peeled, and dice
1 or
2 lb anaheim chiles, with 2 or 3
-jalapen; os, all roasted
2 c sugar
1 tb ground mexican oregano
2/3 c cider vinegar
1 tb salt
Instructions
: Mix chilies, sugar, oregano, vinegar and salt and cook for 10 to
15 minutes over medium heat in an enamel or stainless steel pan.
Allow to cool, and serve cold. Store in refrigerator.
: For a hotter chutney, add 6 diced roasted jalapenos (or increase
the number accordingly if using Anaheims and jalapenos.
Nutrition per serving: 31 calories, trace of fat, no cholesterol,
