One hit wonders or 80's songs

Pomboks thread about us getting old brought back loads of memories of songs from the 80's when I was at school and had nothing better to do than watch Popshop.........

I remember all sorts of dodgy songs and artists and other better efforts. Some were one hit wonders, others had a couple of hits and then faded away.

What songs/artists do you remember?

I can remember a "classic" song called "Jonny called the chemist" :haha: (can't recall the artist other than he was a local dude...as in South African)

Heck we used to pee ourself laughing at that one......

Wink Thanks Tara....... now that you've said it, Falling Mirror rings all the bells!!

As for Pommies having their uses.......I've NEVER doubted that (won't go into what uses exactly) :p

However the pleasure of Pommy bashing is so great that unfortunately I think I'm addicted!! :cheeky:

hey modern talking was not a one hit wonder.... (sometimes i wished they where Smile, but hey, we langarmed lekker to their songs)
